On May 29, Dr. Aksel Ersoy (Delft University of Technology), presented his new book, The Impact of Co-production: From Community Engagement to Social Justice, to the Centre for BOLD Cities community.
The book brings together academics, artists, practitioners and 'community activists' who together explore the possibilities for social justice and community work in the academy.
The book nicely contributes to the BOLD Cities agenda to empower citizens in the smart city, and in their comments on the book presentation, Professor Ellen van Bueren and professor Liesbet van Zoonen, both key members of the BOLD Cities research network, reflected on actual cases and challenges of co-production in the cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam respectively.
