SocialGlass nominated for an Accenture Innovation Award

SocialGlass, the online system for real-time urban big data analytics and forecasting that is developed by our BOLD Cities community at Delft University of Technology, is nominated for an Accenture Innovation Award.

The tool has already been used in several projects and will also play a central role in the Centre for BOLD Cities' upcoming project on vulnerable youth and the usage of big data for developing urban youth policy.

The developers of Social Glass "envision a new generation of real-time Urban Computing systems that are able to scale over large amounts of social data, while maintaining the quality of human understanding in the loop." Their work contributes new methods and tools for human-enhanced social data acquisition, integration, enrichment, analysis, and visualisation.
