Dr. Emiel Rijshouwer

Emiel Rijshouwer is an industrial designer and urban sociologist. In 2019, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation on the evolution of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Foundation. Now working on projects on data empowerment in the (smart) city, Emiel is the lead researcher in the team that developed the national public research game Jouw buurt, jouw data ('Your Neighbourhood, Your Data').
