Transparent Algorithms for Effective Policy

This year’s ScienceWorks conference will explore how policy makers and other societal stakeholders may make use of transparent algorithms to address public challenges. More and more policy makers acknowledge that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is inevitable in order to serve society effectively. At the same time they are wary of the risks that are involved when using Algorithms. This conference invites experts to discuss both the liabilities and opportunities of AI. Even more, this event will explore the importance of international cooperation, private-public cooperation, how data may be shared responsibly and how to cope with a bias on algorithms and sensing for solving some of these artificial intelligence issues.

Please find registration and the programme on the conference website (in Dutch).
